Murad endeavors to give voice to a generation faced with historic uncertainty by exploring the imperfections of youth, trauma, and the isolation of our modern lives. As we navigate this unfamiliar world, Murad invites you to sit back and partake in a serene cocktail of rhythmic introspection.

MURAD'S STORY

MURAD

After college, she realized that deep down she was still the 10 year old girl who only cared about being an artist. So she stepped out of her comfort zone and started to visualize her most ambitious dream. Almost immediately, she met producer King Luck and owner of Jaabu Music Group, the two became a cosmic pair and have been creating music ever since. Murad's first EP is a journey throughout self discovery and will be released this year.

Murad studied Audio Engineering at Columbia College Chicago. Faced with financial troubles throughout her childhood, she became fiercely independent at a young age and started to see engineering as a suitable job in the music industry. She also took to modeling to pay the bills and this is where she discovered the ugly truths of the beauty industry, a topic that she is still passionate about to this day.
